The Company has and will always regard our employees as the backbone of our business and the mainstay of our operations. We recognize that in order to maximize workforce capabilities and therefore workforce productivity, we have to simultaneously adopt a two-pronged approach. The first thrust focuses on developing a conducive working environment i.e. one that is free from potential hazards and that fully facilitates the smooth and seamless implementation of business processes. The second thrust revolves around an employee development program centered on training and education programs. In this regard, numerous initiatives have been undertaken including training exercises for all employees, across the many workforce levels conducted on-site as well as in academic premises.

Whilst the Company recognizes and encourages the employees' desire for self-improvement, all training courses and investments in education are founded on clearly, identified business needs and objectives. These needs and objectives are matched with job requirements, which are then weighed against carefully developed performance criteria. This approach ensures that all training is optimally configured and implemented to maximize the benefits to both the employee and the Company

Apart from the investments Tradewinds makes in the education of the workforce and that of their children, we take many further measures to strengthen the ties between staff at all levels and their families. The Company holds many family-oriented activities which, among others, include regular family days and annual dinner events as well as Hari Raya Haji and Maulidur Rasul celebrations. Also, as part of our healthy lifestyle focus, Tradewinds organizes regular  sports  days  and  personal  wellness  programs  in addition to other more activity oriented events such as treasure hunts and bowling tournaments. Furthermore, and complementing the team-building that occurs over the course of our sports related activities, the Company also allocates a significant budget for specific team building activities.
