Chuah Seong Tat @ Chuah Chee Tat Mr Chuah Seong Tat @ Chuah Chee Tat, aged 59, was appointed to the Board of Directors of Tradewinds Plantation Berhad on 27 June 2006 . He is also a member of the Audit Committee and Executive Committee. Mr Chuah Seong Tat holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia and a Master of Business Administration from Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales. Mr Chuah Seong Tat began his career as an Engineer with American multinational semiconductor manufacturing companies located in Malacca and Penang from 1976 to 1980. He left his engineering career to pursue his Master of Business Administration degree in Australia from 1981 to 1982. Upon returning from Australia, he had worked and gained years of valuable experience in merchant banking, stock broking and trading. He had held various senior positions in those years. Mr Chuah Seong Tat was recently appointed as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Padiberas Nasional Berhad on 11 February 2010. Presently he is a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Tradewinds (M) Berhad and a Director of Bukhary Sdn. Bhd., KHSB Marketing Sdn. Bhd. and Butterworth Coldstorage Sdn. Bhd. Mr Chuah Seong Tat has attended all seven (7) Board Meetings held during the financial year ended 31 December 2009. |
