Bakry bin Hamzah Encik Bakry bin Hamzah, aged 52, was appointed to the Board of Directors of Tradewinds Plantation Berhad on 27 June 2006. He is also a member of the Executive Committee. Encik Bakry bin Hamzah graduated with Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Malaya. He was an Assistant Director of Marketing of Lembaga Padi dan Beras Negara (LPN) from 1981 to 1984 and had also served in various private limited companies including as Operation Manager of Bukhary Holdings Sdn. Bhd. from 1984 to 1987, General Manager of Juara Niaga Sdn. Bhd. from 1987 to 1989, General Manager of KYD Brake Centre Sdn. Bhd. from 1989 to 1993 and Head of Business Development of Aero Mutiara Sdn. Bhd. from 1998 to 2003. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Tradewinds (M) Berhad from 2005 to 2007 and Managing Director of Central Sugars Refinery Sdn. Bhd. before holding his current position as Managing Director of Padiberas Nasional Berhad. He was recently re-designated from his position as Director of Tradewinds (M) Berhad to Group Managing Director of Tradewinds (M) Berhad on 3 February 2010. Encik Bakry bin Hamzah had previously served on the Boards of various companies including Latitude Tree Holdings Berhad as an Executive Director from 1997 to 2001, Director of Oriental Food Industries Berhad from 2002 to 2003 and Director of MARDEC Berhad from 2003 to 2004. Encik Bakry bin Hamzah has attended all seven (7) Board Meetings held during the financial year ended 31 December 2009.
